To RUAN Transportation out of Tolleson, Arizona
who did a fabulous food drive for the
Goodyear Mobile unit. They collected
1032 pounds of food, water and paper
products to help us impact the many
needs of those in our community.
We want to give a big shout out!
All Faith Community Services Volunteer Coordinator, Arlene Powell attended a Junior Youth Council meeting at Buckeye City Hall August 18th. Arlene shared the need for volunteers at All Faith's upcoming events, handed out flyers and contact information. Rachel Lee with Village Community Rec Center spoke about Youth 4 Youth – Make a difference, build leadership and success. Joe Tracey with WOW Coalition spoke about Get in the Way Campaign – Youth Engagement, Volunteering, and Fund Raising Events.
The Junior Youth Council members are from various high schools around Buckeye. Six members were awarded certificates and a pin from Mayor Eric Orsborn.
We have a list of upcoming events that will require a lot of volunteers. October, November and December seems to be our busiest time of year.

The Buckeye Postal Carriers Union Food Drive brought in 2,364 pounds of food to help fill our shelves during the summer months when kids are eating families out of house and home.
Pebble Creek Rotary Club did a food drive in April that brought in 2,523 pounds of food for our Goodyear Mobile Food Bank unit.
