JOHNNATAN MARTINEZ

Advisor

For more than a decade, I have dedicated my life to serving and protecting the community through a career in law enforcement that began with the Phoenix Police Department. After several years of service, I continued my journey with the Goodyear Police Department, where I proudly served for four years before joining the Buckeye Police Department—where I have spent the past six years of my career.

Currently, I serve as a Sergeant with the Buckeye Police Department, leading the Community Resource Unit. In this role, I oversee School Resource Officers, the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT), and our Community Action Team, which focuses on homeless outreach and community engagement. My leadership philosophy centers on compassion, accountability, and proactive service—ensuring that every action strengthens the connection between law enforcement and the people we serve.

Throughout my career, I have worked across multiple divisions, including Patrol, CIT, Homeless Outreach, and SWAT, each experience deepening my understanding of public trust and resilience. My greatest passion lies in helping others—creating meaningful change in the lives of individuals and families within my community.

Beyond the badge, I am a proud husband and father of two incredible children who inspire me daily to lead with integrity, empathy, and purpose. My ultimate goal is to leave a legacy defined by service, compassion, and the relentless pursuit of making this world a better place than when I entered it.
